Four Brothers Sequel in the works titled FIVE BROTHERS
Paramount is developing a sequel to its 2005 John Singleton-directed thriller Four Brothers, bringing back many of the creative team for Five Brothers.
Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (Transformers, Shooter) is back to produce with Mark Wahlberg eyeing a return to star, having hatched the idea for the sequel with original scribes David Elliot and Paul Lovett -- who wrote last summer's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra for Paramount.
The 2005 original starred Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin and Garrett Hedlund as four adopted brothers who come together to avenge their mother's death in what at first appears to be a random robbery. Though film wasn't a huge hit, it more than doubled its $45 million budget with its worldwide box-office take.

The elephant in the room has to be the Ocean's style mathematics used for the title of the sequel. It is unclear at the moment which of the other actors, if any, would return. ****Spoiler Alert**** I'm guessing we can rule out Hedlund, as his character was killed in the first movie. So with adding another "brother" to the title, and Hedlund's character dead... it would seem we're down two brothers. Plot details are being kept under wraps on Five Brothers, so who knows what the explanation will be. I guess we'll give the team the benefit of the doubt for now.
