Clark Gregg is going to reprise his role as Agent Coulson, a member of S.H.E.I.L.D., in the upcoming Marvel film Thor. You should recognize him from Jon Favreau's Iron Man and (500) Days of Summer. Gregg also wrote the films Choke and What Lies Beneath. I'm sure Thor won't be the last time we see him in these Marvel films. He is one of many pieces that will connect the movies and Marvel characters together as they work their way to building up to The Avengers movie, which will bring together all of our favorite superheros such as Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, and Thor.
Marvel has been hard at work making deals with actors to make sure that audiences will recognize characters when they crossover and appear in the other films they are developing. Gregg is also set to appear in Iron Man 2.
Kenneth Branagh's Thor is currently shooting and he said at the Golden Globes last night that everything is going well right now. The films stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, as well as Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellen Skarsgard and Kat Dennings.
