AVATAR is now the 2nd highest grossing Movie of All Time!?

I knew it would happen! Avatar has surpassed Dead Man’s Chest making it’s way into the #3 spot of the highest grossing movies of all time, and according to Box Office Mojo is right on heel’s of taking over Return of the King in the #2 spot.

So far the film has grossed $1,098,736,685 so far and rising, but according to Deadline Hollywood FOX sources claim it has already crossed that line as of last night. So perhaps Mojo is a little behind on the stats. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Fact of the matter is, it will take the #2 spot and it would have done it in only about 20 days. This gives the film plenty of time to make a lot more money. But will it take over Titanic’s epic $1,842,879,955 box office take? Leave it to Cameron to break his own record.

It's Official! Avatar has earned the #2 spot of highest grossing movies of all time!

World Wide it currently has made, $1,135,383,229 taking out Return of the King! Amazing.
