The first trailer for Joe Carnahan's (Smokin Aces, Narc) feature adaptation of the A-Team has leaked online. TheFilmStage noticed a Canadian Newspaper had uploaded the trailer -- which is to debut in theaters this weekend attached Daybreakers -- and uploaded the video through Vimeo to make it available for view by other countries.
A-Team is produced by Ridley and Tony Scott, and stars Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as Sgt. "B.A." Baracus, Sharlto Copley as Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock, and Liam Neeson as John "Hannibal" Smith.
The action looks to pretty out there... in a good way for the most part, definitely with the spirit of the original series. BUT, some of the FX look kind of like the too huge to be real Sommers G.I. Joe style of visuals (big budget that looks cheap)... not good. But Copely does a great job of shedding his South African accent, Cooper looks jacked, and Neeson is the man.
The quality isn't "ideal," but great looking by bootleg standards I guess. Let's just say you'll definitely know what you're gonna be in for, or what you're decidedly not gonna be in for. But we don't know how long this will be up before the studio starts busting heads, so watch this ASAP.
Check out the trailer and let us know if A-TEAM is your cup of tea?
