It's Looking Like WOLVERINE 2 will Shoot in March with Aronofsky Directing

We reported last week that director Darren Aronofsky was in talks to take on Wolverine 2 for FOX. It looks like this is close to being a done deal because FOX is looking to start shooting the film in March, with the sound stage portions of the film being filmed in New York so that Aronosfsky and Hugh Jackman can be closer to their families. They will eventually head out to Japan to shoot the majority of the film on location.

As far as we know this is still not a solid deal, but the studio seems to be moving forward as if it almost is. This is some great news folks! If Aronofsky signs on to this project, you can bet your ass there's a good chance that Wolverine 2 is going to be a great movie.
