Francis Ford Coppola is Directing a Horror Film with Val Kilmer

Legendary director Francis Ford Coppola has started production on a new horror/thriller film with Val Vilmer called Twixt Now And Sunshine.

Kilmer plays a horror novelist in the film, which is based off of a short story written by Coppola. We have no other details on the films plot. Coppola hasn't made a horror film since Bram Stoker's Dracula, which isn't the best adaptation of the story, but it looked great.

Coppola is self financing the movie which will shoot in Napa, on Coppola's property. The film also stars Elle Fanning (Super 8) and Bruce Dern, who is a great actor that doesn't make enough movies these day.

It's pretty cool to see Coppola and Kilmer working together on a film. Kilmer has always been a solid actor, he just needs to find another great project, maybe this is it. I can't wait to see what this is going to turn out to be.
