INDIANA JONES to get 3D Conversion

3D conversions of older movies is a hot new trend in Hollywood fashion. As you've heard, James Cameron is currently converting Titanic for 3D, and is looking to do it with Aliens as well. Then it was recently announced that George Lucas is going to be converting all of his Star Wars film for 3D as well, and now it looks like Indiana Jones is also on his "to do" list for a 3D makeover.

Next thing you know we're going to see Back to the Future, The Goonies, Ghostbusters and Weird Science all getting a 3D conversion.

In all honesty, as much as I love Indiana Jones, it's a film series that really does not need to go 3D. But, according to Blue Sky Disney it is, and here's what they have to say,

Next month, Lucasfilm will announce that they're converting theIndiana Jones Saga to 3D as well. The films will be converted and released in a similar fashion as the Star Wars films with "Raiders of the Lost Ark" the first out of the gate.

So I guess we can expect to see Indiana Jones fighting Nazi's in 3D soon. What do you all think of that?
