Hangover co-star Zack Galifianakis has been cast in the upcoming Jason Segel film The Muppets. This bit of news was revealed in an interview between E! Online, Galifianakis and Robert Downy Jr. for their upcoming comedy Due Date.
Galifianakis will only shoot for a couple of days, which means his role will most likely be a little cameo. Galifianakis will be joining the likes of Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Rashida Jones and Chris Cooper, which starts shooting next month.
The story is loosely based on a original idea from Jim Henson called The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made, where Gonzo is hired to direct a film, but winds up blowing his entire budget on the first day. From there, he's forced to finish the picture without any money but with the help of his Muppet friends.
Check out the video below, where Downey lets the cat out of the bag. This caught Galifinakis off guard, and he looked a little stunned. He didn't even know what to say.
