Mark Ruffalo on new Hulk film and Idris Elba hints at Luke Cage

In a recent interview with Empire, Mark Ruffalo revealed that we'll end up seeing him play the Hulk not only in The Avengers, but in a new Hulk movie as well as more Avenger sequels!

They set up several pictures over a couple of years and possibly there will be a Hulk movie. There'll probably be a couple more Avengers too, which would be fun.

This goes right along with what was revealed yesterday with Marvel film branding leading up to something huge in 2017. I figured we'd see another Hulk film, but to keep bringing these big name actors back together for more Avengers films? That seems like a challenge, a challenge that Marvel has accepted. They are probably planning the epic of all epic comic book films. Perhaps a Avengers trilogy?

Then in a seperate interview with Total Film Idris Elba, who plays Heimdall in Kenneth Branagh's Thor, talked about his deal with Marvel Studios and what we will see from him in future Marvel films.

I wouldn't mind having a crack at bringing Blade back, personally' He says with a wry smile, echoed with a laugh from his manager.

But erm, there's a couple of things there that they have... Luke Cage is... very interesting.

So, was he hinting at the fact that we'll see Elba take on Luke Cage at some point? Only time will tell.
