Paramount Picks Up Script Pitch From TAKEN Writer Robert Mark Kamen

Robert Mark Kamen has sold his pitch of an untitled thriller to Paramount Pictures.  Kamen wrote Taken, all three Transporter films, The Fifth Element, Bandidas, and the first Karate Kid films. 

Not much is known about the plot at this point.  What is known is that the film will follow two twenty-somethings, a man and a woman, who are caught up in an intimate character based thriller.  The film is to be produced by Brad Weston. 

Paramount is hoping to recapture the thunder Disturbia, which involved the same age group and grossed over $112 million worldwide

I have enjoyed Kamen's pictures, especially Taken.  I am excited to learn more about this films plot and who will be starring in it.  He has a knack for handling tension and creating great action sequences so I am very hopeful for this film.
