Warner Bros. has No Plans for a JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie

DC writer and Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns recently did a panel at New York Comic Con in which he confirmed what we already knew, and that is that Warner Bros. has no plans to make a Justice League movie.

When he was asked about the possibility of shared-universe films like Marvel has done, Johns said,

I'm going to speak frankly: I think our characters are bigger than Marvel's.

Marvel and DC fans can duke it out on that statement. I like both comic book universes, but I think I lean toward Marvel a little more. Johns went on to explain that he'd "rather spend time building each character on his or her own rather than smashing them together."

I don't think Marvel is smashing them together I think we can all agree that they are "assembling" them. See what I did there? Look, fact of the matter is the Justice League exists in the comics just like The Avengers, and if they could make a Justice League movie they would. I just don't think they've figured out how to do it yet.

What do you all think about Johns statements?
