PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3 Gets a 2011 Release Date

We all knew this was coming so don't act so surprised. Paramount Pictures spent $3 million dollars on Paranormal Activity 2 and it made a cool $156 million worldwide. The studio made a huge profit, and they are going to do it again.

The studio has set the release date for Paranormal Activity 3 at October 21st, 2011. This news come from Oren Peli, the director of the first film and producer of the sequel. Other than the release date there are no other details about the film that have been revealed.

I honestly didn't think Paranormal Activity 2 would be any good; lightning couldn't possibly strike twice... well I was wrong.  It was just as good and just as effective as the first film. I'm sure part three will end up being just as scary.

At this point, the story can go anywhere. I wonder if they will keep taking the story back in time, showing how this whole this started in the first place. Or if they will progress the story forward from the end of the sequel. There are just so many different scenarios that at this point we can only guess as to what might end up happening.

What do you think will happen in the third film?
