The sequel to the 2009 remake of Friday the 13th is alive and well. The last we heard, plans for the Friday the 13th sequel were dead. Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller announced on his twitter that the sequel wasn't happening, and there was absolutely no movement on it.

Apparently it's back on. The Friday the 13th blog reports that they were contacted and notified that "...there is now movement in the development of a new Friday the 13th film."

Other than that, there's not much information. We knew it would eventually happen. I don't think they will ever stop making Friday the 13th films. Will fill you in on more information as it becomes available.
