THE DARK KNIGHT RISES will Start Shooting in May

Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan are hard at work on finishing up the script for The Dark Knight Rises.  In a recent interview with Michael Caine, he reveals that the script will be delivered to actors in January, the film will start shooting in May and that it will finish in November. That's six months of good old fashioned action packed filmmaking.

In case you want to see this news in Caine's own words...

Emma [Thomas], the producer, said we'd get the script in January. Christopher said: 'Script in January, shoot in May, finish in November.'

As far as what other casting ideas Nolan has in mind, Caine went on to say, "Christopher is the most secretive guy in the world. He won't tell you anything." So until any casting is official we won't really know anything. So far we know, the original cast from the first two films will reprise their roles, and Tom Hardy has also been added to the mix.

I'm excited to see what what Nolan is actually planning for us!
