In a recent interview with WGN Radio Chicago, Dan Aykroyd confirmed that Ghostbusters 3 is currently casting and several names are already “strong possibilities.”
According to a reader who e-mailed the scoop to Bloody Disgusting, Aykroyd stated the the film is currently casting and they they’re “open to finding some fresh faces.” He also confirmed that Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Eliza Dushku have been considered “strong possibilities”. Bill Murray and Sigourney Weaver are also going to be returning for the third film.
What are your thoughts of those actors joining this project? How likely do you think it is that shooting will begin in May for a Christmas 2012 release?
