Natalie Portman shows off her Dark Side in New Film Clip for BLACK SWAN

Fox Searchlight Pictures has released a new film clip for Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan. I absolutely loved this movie, and I'm looking forward to seeing it again once it's released. It was awesomely unsettling; you can read my review for the film here.

In this new clip, Natalie Portman shows off her dark side as she dances the dark and seductive dance of the Black Swan. This is part of a sequence that just blows up on screen. I will say that the scene shown below is so much more meaningful when you see it with the rest of the film.

Nina, a New York ballerina, has spent most of her life obsessed with dance and under the control of her domineering mother. At last her career reaches a well-deserved peak when she is cast in the lead in "Swan Lake." Before she has the chance to bask in her success, her place is threatened by a competing dancer, Lily, who possesses a natural sensuality that Nina lacks. The two rivals irresistibly drawn to one another, and Nina soon becomes acquainted with her own dark side and the horrors it conceals.
