Bill Pullman Join TORCHWOOD: THE NEW WORLD

Actor Bill Pullman has joined the cast of the Americanized Torchwood spinoff called Torchwood: The New World. Series writer Jane Espenson confirmed Pullman's casting on her Twitter account, saying that she just heard the news officially herself. Here's what she tweeted:

Just heard officially. Yes, we have Bill Pullman as our newest cast member on #Torchwood!

The upcoming fourth series is being produced and will take place in the United States. It's also scheduled to air on the Starz network in 2011.

Pullman will be join returning cast members John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Rhys Williams as well as newcomer Mekhi Phifer who takes on the role of a CIA agent named Rex Matheson.

Pullman should make a great addition to the show! What do you all think?
