Judi Dench Cast in Clint Eastwood's J. EDGAR
Clint Eastwood has revealed that Judi Dench has been officially cast of his new film J. Edgar which is currently prepping to go into production. There is no word on who she will play in the film, but she's a great actress that makes a great addition to the cast.
Charlize Theron has yet to be officially attached to the film, but she in the running to join the film as Helen Gandy, a Justice Department file clerk who worked for Hoover as his personal secretary for more than 50 years.
Eastwood is set to direct the film from a script written by Dustin Lance Black. As of right now the film also stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Hoover, Armie Hammer as his assistant/closeted lover Clyde Tolson, and Damon Herriman as Bruno Hauptmann, the man convicted of kidnapping and killing the Lindbergh baby.
Filming is set to begin in the new year, and I'm looking forward to seeing what exactly Eastwood has planned for this.
