THE AVENGERS Adding To The Star Studded Cast!

Marvel is rumored to be adding another start to the already gigantic cast of Joss Whedon’s The Avengers.

The cast already boasts an awesome cast that includes Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk),Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), and Chris Hemsworth (Thor). It has been reported by THR that there will be a new female cast member added to the male centered cast. So which female superhero will Marvel add?

Many poeple are speculating that it will be The Wasp, who was one of the founding members and often a leader of the Avengers. The Wasp is pretty bad ass, she can fly, shrink, and fire energy blasts at the bad guys. We do know for sure that both Demi Lovato and Eva Longoria will not be starring in the film.

Accoring to The Playlist that if The Wasp is added to the mix it could also lead to adding fellow Avenger founder, Ant-Man. As you know, Edgar Wright has been trying to get an Ant-Man film off the ground for a bit.

The Avengers will smash it's way into theaters on May 4, 2012.
