Carey Mulligan officially attached to Star in Steve McQueen's SHAME

Carey Mulligan (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and Never Let Me Go) has signed on to co-star in Steve McQueen's upcoming film drama Shame. She will join the already cast James Badge Dale and Michael Fassbender.

The story follows Brandon (Fassbender), a 30-something man living in New York who is unable to manage his sex life. After his wayward younger sister moves into his apartment, Brandon’s world spirals out of control. Shame is a compelling and timely examination of the nature of need, how we live our lives and the experiences that shape us.

Mulligan will be playing Brandon's sister, Sissy.

This movie is bringing together quite an impressive cast. Shooting is scheduled to begin in January on location in New York.
