Casting Roundup: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Justin Timberlake & Marion Cotillard

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has joined the cast of the formerly titled film I'm With Cancer. He is replacing the previously cast James McAvoy who signed to star in the film last August. McAvoy dropped out of the production this week due to personal reasons. The film had already begun shooting, but Gordon-Levitt should make a great addition to the cast and the film. The movie co-stars Seth Rogan, Anna Kendrick and Bryce Dallas Howard. Gordon-Levitt will take the lead role Adam. The film is based on the true experiences of screenwriter Will Reiser, who successfully waged his own battle with cancer in his 20s.

Justin Timberlake has joined the cast of the Columbia Pictures comedy Bad Teacher and will star along side Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel, and Lucy Punch. Also joining the cast is Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family and Molly Shannon (SNL).Justin Timberlake will play a key role in the story as a substitute teacher, the scion of a watch fortune. The story centers around a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague -- a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher.

Marion Cotillard has been cast in Woody Allen's next film which currently doesn't have a title. All we know about the movie so far, is that it's a romantic drama that's going to be shot in Paris this summer. Owen Wilson has already been cast in the film and it's rumored that the first lady of France, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, has been cast in it as well.

So that's what's been going on in the casting world today!
