How JACKASS 3D Got the Greenlight from Paramount

As you know, Paramount Pictures has already greenlit the next installment of the Jackass franchise. Johnny Knoxville, Stevo and the rest of the gang are currently torturing themselves for our viewing pleasure. The Jackass crew are seriously the freakshow of our generation.
The film is also being shot in 3D, and they are going against every possible rule in James Cameron's 3D handbook to make this movie. Well, at least they are actually shooting it in 3D and not converting it. There's no doubt in my mind that these guys are literally go to throw handfuls of crap in our face.
So how and why did Paramount greenlight the film? They saw some test footage and insiders told Deadline that "the footage displayed how Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville and cohorts doing their usual pratfalls, but the stunt that really won the day was called “The Heli-cockter." One of the Jackass crew—I believe it was “Party Boy” Chris Pontius—tethered a remote control-operated helicopter to his penis, and sat there grinning as the copter swung in circles, flying out at the spectacle-wearing Paramount executives who green lit the film."
The film is set to be released on October 15th 2010.
How excited are you to see the Jackass crew get up close and way too personal?
