Check out this Short Sci-Fi Film called THE RAVEN

There's a new short sci-fi film that has been making the rounds on the internet recently called The Raven. The film was directed by Ricardo de Montreuil in Los Angeles. It was shot on the RED camera and made on a budget of $5,000 dollars. Here's a little synopsis,

Chris Black possesses a power that could lead to the destruction of the current regime, and they will stop at nothing to destroy him. The chase is on as Chris runs for his life in this sci-fi thriller set in an alternate and futuristic Los Angeles.

The short reminded me a lot like Minority Report and Akira. The story obviously borrows from several different films, but the movie was shot well, and it looks fun. It has a couple little moments that don't really make sense but it's all in the name of fun. With a little more polish this could be a very cool film or TV series.
