Lionsgate has released the first official teaser trailer for the Ryan Reynolds thriller, Buried. This is a great little independent film that premiered at The Sundance Film Festival, and received a good amount of positive buzz. The poor guy in this story finds himself in the most terrible nightmarish circumstances.
I watched this film while I was up at the Festival and I absolutely loved it! It was one of my favorite films at the festival this year. The whole film takes place with one person, and one location. The main character is buried alive in a coffin, and the whole film is about him dealing with this insane situation. I loved this film, it was very much like a Alfred Hitchcock intense thriller. This film keeps your attention locked, and I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. You can read my review Right Here.
This is a great little teaser trailer and I think you’ll enjoy it. Check it out below and tell us what ya think!
Paul Conroy is not ready to die. But when he wakes up 6 feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery, and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time- fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.
Buried will be released in select theaters on September 24th 2010 and will expand nationwide on October 8th 2010.
