The Robot Chicken gang team up with LucasFilm to Develop a Star Wars Animated Sitcom

Hell yeah, this is what we want to see! TV writer Brendan Hay (The Daily Show/Frank) will join forces with the sick minds behind Robot Chicken -- Seth Green and Matthew Seinreich -- who have all teamed up with LucasFilm to create a new Star Wars animated TV sitcom series.

There is no title for the series, and no details have been released as to what we can expect. I can only imagine the hilarious possibilities. There are some pretty creative and funny individuals behind the project so I have high hopes. I’m a huge fan of the Robot Chicken series, and I don’t doubt that this new series is going to end up being a pretty awesome little project. I’ve also enjoyed watching the Clone Wars animated series on Cartoon Network, it’s gotten really good. Definitely one of the better animated TV shows out there right now.

I can’t wait to see what these guys have in mind for a Star Wars animated sitcom. What direction can you see them taking a Star Wars sitcom?
