Aided by Betty White, SNL has huge ratings night!

How cool is it that Betty White, at 88 years old, finally hosted Saturday Night Live?!?

Well, she helped give the show an 8.8 rating, which means roughly 9 million people watched the octogenarian bring the laughs. This means twice as many people stayed up late to watch SNL as tuned in to ABCs coverage of the NBA playoffs. Not bad, Ms. White.

Producer Lorne Michaels was able to use the TV legend to bring back some of the funniest women in SNL history, including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, and Mya Rudolph. It was a star-studded episode, and I am excited to see what they pull out for next week's season finale, with host Alec Baldwin.

What did you think of the Betty White hosted episode of SNL?

Did you miss it? Watch it below thanks to Hulu!
