Geek Art: The Lil' Inappropriate Golden Book: MOVIES R FUN!

Pixar animation story artist Josh Cooley (Cars, Ratatouille, Up) is putting together a fantastically awesome little picture book called Lil' Inappropriate Golden Book: MOVIES 'R' FUN!

I grew up on the classic old school Little Golden Books, do you remember those? Cooley has taken the style and idea of these books and transformed classic 'R' rated films that are not safe for children, and transformed certain scenes into classic child like art.

The illustrations below take scenes from classic films such as, The Professional, Terminator 2, Godfather, Goodfellas, Apocalypse Now, Se7en, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Graduate, Terminator, Silence of the Lambs, and The Big Lebowski.

The book and prints from the book will be available at Comic-Con this year, APE Expo in San Francisico, and also on his blog. I think these are great, so I hope you enjoy them!
