Zombieland Director Ruben Fleischer to Helm BABE IN THE WOODS

Before Zombieland came along Ruben Fleischer was a humble commercials and music video director. But he's left that life behind him because he'll be making feature films for the rest of his life now. Zombieland launched his career into a rainbow of glory.

Columbia Pictures has announced that Fleisher will direct a film called Babe in the Woods from a script written by Mike White. White's credits include Dead Man on Campus, Freaks and Geeks, The Good Girl, School of Rock, Nacho Libre, and Year of the Dog.

With both Fleisher and White on board, Babe in the Woods should end up being a really fun movie. The film is an action comedy that follows a innocent college freshman from the Midwest who arrives at Yale and becomes a target of the New Jersey mafia.

As of right now Fleischer is working on developing 30 Minutes Or Less which stars Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride, and Aziz Ansari. He also recently sold an untitled action comedy idea to DreamWorks which he will direct and produce.
