BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD Animated Film Clip and Trailer
Warner Home Video has released the first official clip from from their upcoming new animated movie Batman: Under the Red Hood, this is the eighth entry in the series of DC Universe animated original PG-13 movies.
The short clip features an encounter between Batman and Red Hood. In the film, Batman faces his ultimate challenge as the mysterious Red Hood takes Gotham City by firestorm. One part vigilante, one part criminal kingpin, Red Hood begins cleaning up Gotham with the efficiency of Batman, but without following the same ethical code. And when The Joker falls in the balance between the two forces of justice, hard truths are revealed and old wounds are reopened.
This next animated film doesn't looks like Warner Bros. and DC Entertainments best animated work in terms of script, but this is only a short clip. I've also included the trailer as well which shows a little bit more of the animation and action sequences. Check them out and tell us what ya think!

Batman: Under the Red Hood will be distributed by Warner Home Video on July 27, 2010 and is available for pre-order on Amazon.com as a Special Edition version on Blu-Ray and 2-disc DVD as well as being available on single disc DVD, On Demand and for Download.
Included are a featurette titled Robin’s Requiem: The Tale of Jason Todd, two bonus episodes from Batman: The Animated Series Season 1 handpicked by Bruce Timm, a sneak peek at the next DCU movie, and a Jonah Hex animated short.
