Anchor Bay Entertainment Launches OPERATION: ENDGAME on DVD & BLU-RAY™ on July 27th

Somewhere in our nation’s capital, a group of men and women, once dedicated to keeping America safe from its enemies, have just declared war…on each other. From the producers of Donnie Darko and the Oscar®-winning Capote comes Operation: Endgame. An edgy action-comedy with one of the coolest all-star casts ever assembled, Operation: Endgame premieres on DVD and Blu-ray™ on July 27th from Anchor Bay Entertainment. Released theatrically by Anchor Bay Films, the Infinity Media production stars Joe Anderson (The Crazies, Across The Universe), Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine), Ellen Barkin (Ocean’s 13), Odette Yustman (Cloverfield), Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) and Emilie de Ravin (“Lost,” Remember Me)

Operation: Endgame centers around two rival teams of government assassins, who work out of a top-secret underground facility and use code names from the Tarot deck. When new hire “The Fool” (Anderson) joins the group, he arrives for his first day only to discover that the boss has been murdered and the office has been locked down and turned into a ticking time bomb. He must survive his ambitious co-workers, find the killer, and discover a way out before the whole place explodes.

The film’s impressive supporting cast includes such luminaries as Maggie Q (Live Free or Die Hard, Mission: Impossible 3, Rush Hour 2), Adam Scott (“Party Down,” Step Brothers), Brandon T. Jackson (Tropic Thunder, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief), Beth Grant (Crazy Heart, Henry Poole Is Here), Bob Oedenkirk (“Breaking Bad,” “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job”), Michael Hitchcock (Waiting For Guffman, A Mighty Wind), with Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible, Pulp Fiction, “Gravity”), and Jeffrey Tambor (“Arrested Development,” The Hangover).

Bonus features on both the DVD and Blu-ray™ include:

  • Behind The Scenes featurette
  • Alternate opening
  • Alternate ending
  • Theatrical trailer

The film is directed by Fouad Mikati and produced by Michael Ohoven (Capote, Devil’s Rejects, Just Friends) of Infinity Media and Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko, The Box) of Darko Entertainment. Infinity’s Kevin Turen and Darko’s Sean McKittrick also served as producers.
