Hulu Releases Information on HULU PLUS Subscription Service

Today, television streaming service Hulu revealed details of their long-rumored subscription service, Hulu Plus.

Those willing to pay the $9.99 per month fee will gain access to the entire season of most of their hosted content. What’s even more exciting is that subscribers will be able to access the content through gadgets like the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, iPhone, and iPad. If you’re unwilling to part with the fee, never fear: around five episodes of each hosted show will be available for free on Hulu’s site.

The only aspect of Hulu Plus that might cause some to cry foul is the inclusion of advertisements. Upon first hearing about the service, most thought the monthly fee would do away with the need for commercials. That isn’t the case, though; they’ve already taken on Bud Light and Nissan as sponsors.
