David Tennant and Christopher Mintz-Plasse Cast in FRIGHT NIGHT
This Fright Night remake has put together a pretty fantastic cast so far! It started out with the casting of Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell and Toni Collette. Now we can add David Tennant from Doctor Who and Christopher Mintz-Plasse from Kick-Ass. The film revolves around a teen named Charile who is convinced that his new neighbor is a vampire
Tennant will play the late night horror show host Peter Vincent from the original film. In this new remake, Peter is a Las Vegas magician whose show revolves around horror-movie imagery. Vincent claims to be a vampire expert, but when the teen turns to him for assistance, of course he’s less than helpful. This will be Tennant's first American film
Mintz-Plasse will play everyone favorite character from the original film... Evil Ed, this is Chariles friend who feels slighted that Charlie has left his nerdy past behind and thus joins the vampire’s coven. Mintz-Plasse is a great choice for this role and I'm sure he'll do the Evil Ed character proud. Slowly but surely Mintz-Plasse will shed his McLovin skin.
