PIRANHA 3D Comic-Con Rated 'R' Panel is on! Only it will be Off-Site

Yesterday we reported that Piranha 3D was taken off of Comic-Con's schedule due to the incredibly bloody and intense rated 'R' footage that the studio wanted to show fans. Dimension Films could have edited that footage down to a PG-13 type rating and got the panel back on at the convention center, but it looks like they are going a different route, which will allow us to actually see that awesome blood filled footage! They are all about keeping the fans happy.

Dimension has moved the panel for Piranha 3D off-site and here are the details from the studio:

You are invited to attend the special San Diego screening of PIRANHA 3D footage – several minutes of never-before-seen footage that is so fantastically bloody and so intense, we couldn’t show it on site at Comic-Con!
