Warner Bros. Picks up Sci-Fi Script for WORLD WAR X

Warner Bros. Studios had acquired the rights to a script written by Colin Trevorrow called World War X, which Joel Silver will produce through his production company. This definitely sounds like it's going to be a high concept, big budget, tent pole studio film.

The story follows a man who is recruited by an elite team of government agents who are on a mission to stop a terrorist from the future who is using time travel to reshape history.

I'm in! This sounds like it would make for an incredibly fun movie! Lets just hope Silver puts together a talented team of people to bring this movie to life. I definitely see the potential that the story has, lets hope it gets done properly, because it could also go in so many wrong directions.
