Photos and Video of Andrew Garfield Right After He Nabbed the role of SPIDER-MAN

Yesterday Sony announced that British actor Andrew Garfield would play Peter Parker in the new 3D Spider-Man reboot being directed by (500) Days of Summer Director Marc Webb. The official announcement of this casting took place in Cancun, Mexico.  Garfield was in Cancun expecting to promote The Social Network. Instead he was told that he got the lead role in Spider-Man. This happened about ten minutes before he got up on stage in front of a bunch of journalists. You can definitely see in the video below he was still in utter shock that he landed the part! He could barely talk.
