Christopher Nolan Says: "I'd Love To Do A BOND Film."

Christopher Nolan told the BBC (via Deadline) during his Inception premiere in London that 007 is one of the great characters in cinematic history and that the Bond films had a huge influence on his Inception.

Here's what he had to say;

“I’ve loved the Bond films since I was a kid. For me, they’re always about the expansiveness of cinema. The first Bond films set up infinite possibilities about the world they create. I’d love to do a Bond film.”

Even Inception's marketing campaign describes the film as "James Bond meets The Matrix".

Nolan then had even more to say;

"The Bond influence on the film was very intentional because, for me, growing up with the Bond films -- they've always stood for grand-scale action,"

Just like the Bond films Nolan spanned the globe filming Inception on locations like Morocco, France, Japan and Canada. Nolan says the Bond films alwasy stand for promise to being taken to some bigger place that you had never imagined before.

One cool note he said was by the end of Inception you'll feel like the film could go anywhere and do anything.

Pretty cool and confident huh!
