Toy Company Files Lawsuit Against Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment

While at Comic-Con, Stan Lee announced new titles that his POW! Entertainment would be releasing through BOOM! and his own Stan Lee Comics in the near future, well, maybe. Super Seven, a web series featuring Lee as a character that becomes a Professor X of sorts for a group of aliens, has inspired toy company Super 7 to file a U.S. District Court Complaint against Lee & Co.

According to Vulture, Super 7 warned POW! to change the book's title in February or to face the consequences. Apparently they ignored the warning and proceeded as planned. I was unable to find any official response from POW! but Super 7's case seems pretty tight. If I were a betting man, I'd put money on the series being delayed and undergoing a name change.
