Ryan Reynolds to Co-Star with Denzel Washington in SAFE HOUSE
It looks like Ryan Reynolds could end up starring in a new film with Denzel Washington called Safe House. According to Deadline he is the frontrunner for the roll of a young CIA agent who has to transport a dangerous criminal to safety after both are attacked at a safe house.
There are also a ton of other young actors that are trying to nab the role which includes Shia LaBeouf, Taylor Kitsch, Chris Pine, Sam Worthington, Garrett Hedlund, Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth and Jake Gyllenhaal.
None of these actors have officially been signed on to star in the film yet, except for Washington who signed onto the project a few weeks ago. There's a lot of decent actor on this list, and it should be interesting to see who ends up getting the role.
The story for the film comes from David Guggenheim and Snabba Cash director Daniel Espinosa set to helm the film.
Here's a little description of the story:
Set in South America, Safe House follows a young U.S. intelligence agent who must go on the run with a newly arrived prisoner (Denzel’s potential role) after his titular safe house comes under attack — think of a mix between Collateral and Three Days of the Condor.
