Many Dimes Dropped at LOST: THE AUCTION

Auction group Profiles in History released a list of what items sold for at last weekend's Lost: The Auction.

How much would you pay for a Volkswagen van? $2,000? $3,000? $50,000?! Someone at the auction actually purchased the iconic Dharma VW van from the show for $47,500. Daniel Faraday's journal and the mechanism Jack smashed up from the lighthouse both fetched $27,500. The third biggest money-getter of the night was the frozen donkey wheel selling for $25,000.

As much as I love the show (even the last episode), I couldn't see myself paying such exhorbitent prices for props. If they did offer a stunt dummy of Maggie Grace, though, I might reconsider. How about you all?
