Gareth Edwards Plans his MONSTERS Follow-Up Film

Movie Monsters Timur Bekmambetov Science Fiction about 13 years agoby Joey Paur

The writer and director of the upcoming independent horror/sci-fi film Monsters is prepping up for his next film which he will bring to life with producer Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted).

Edwards has written the new sci-fi that he will also direct. The project is described "an epic human story, set in a futuristic world without humanity."

There are not many more details on the untitled film, but it should be cool to see what these guys have planned.

Gareth made Monsters on a $100,000 budget, through the buzz that was created for the film he got another $400,000 to complete all the post-production work and special effects. Word on the street is Edwards is the next Neil Blomkamp type breakthrough director.
