Screen Gems has released a new trailer for a very mediocre looking and extremely predictable film called The Roommate. The film is a about a girl who becomes obsessed with her new college roommate, so much in fact that she's willing to kill for her. Yep, this is going to be a winner. And yes, this is a college film so girls will get killed in the shower.

The movie stars Leighton Meester, Minka Kelly, Alyson Michalka, Cam Gigandet and Danneel Harris and is set to come out on on February 4th, 2011. The film was directed by Christian E. Christiansen (Zoomers) and was written by The Lake House and The Strangers producer Sonny Mallhi. This is the first film that Mallhi has written.
