Well hello everyone! Sorry for my unexpected time off but sometimes life just throws you a curve ball so to speak. Anyways, there's tons of shows coming out this week and all of them I love! Let's get to it!

Modern Family: Season 1

Who better to document the 21st-century American family than a Dutch film crew capturing the clan's antics for a reality show in the Netherlands? That's the conceit of this Emmy-winning mockumentary comedy series created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan. Ed O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara and Ty Burrell star as members of the multinational, multisexual and exceedingly complicated Pritchett-Delgado-Dunphy tribe.

Cast: Julie Bowen, Sofía Vergara
Director: Jason Winer

Love this show! It's hilarious!

Community: Season 1

When times get tough, the tough go back to college. This is what lawyer Jeff Winger decides to do when his degree is suddenly revoked. Now a Greendale Community College student, Jeff (Joel McHale) finds it's a different world out there in this NBC sitcom. Aligning himself with fellow oddballs -- including the infinitely experienced (and seven-times-married) Pierce (Chevy Chase) and the perfectionist Annie (Alison Brie) -- Jeff forms a study group.

Cast: Joel McHale, Chevy Chase
Director: Anthony Russo

At first I had no interest in watching this but I gave it a shot and I am so glad I did! It's a very funny show!

Bored to Death: Season 1

In this HBO comedy series, struggling New York novelist Jonathan Ames (Jason Schwartzman) pushes procrastination to new heights when he jettisons his writing duties in favor of taking on cases as a self-styled private eye. With the unlikely help of his editor George (Ted Danson) and pal Ray (Zach Galifianakis), the pot-smoking gumshoe investigates missing sisters, cheating boyfriends, stolen skateboards and other cases.

Cast: Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson
Director: Paul Feig

Spartacus: Blood and Sand Season 1

Spartacus (Andy Whitfield) is betrayed by a Roman general and sold into slavery to Lentulus Batiatus (John Hannah) to train at his ludus gladiatorius in Capua, Italy. Ultimately, Spartacus must fight for his freedom and his wife's (Erin Cummings). Lucy Lawless co-stars as Lucretia, Batiatus's wife, in this bloody, twist-filled Starz television series in which corruption, treachery and action reign while one man's journey unfolds.

Cast: Andy Whitfield, Lucy Lawless
Director: Grant Hill

This show is so action packed and crazy that I could not stop watching it to save my life! The first episode is pretty cheesy with terrible special effects ut it gets a lot better so keep watching!

Of course there are movies releasing this week as well! Here's a few.

Robin Hood

Russell Crowe stars as Robin Longstride in director Ridley Scott's big-budget twist on the celebrated legend. When soldier Robin happens upon the dying Robert of Loxley, he promises to return the man's sword to his family in Nottingham. There, he assumes Robert's identity; romances his widow, Marion (Cate Blanchett); and draws the ire of the town's sheriff (Matthew Macfadyen) and King John's henchman, Godfrey (Mark Strong).

Cast: Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett
Director: Ridley Scott

This is only available at Blockbuster or Blockbuster online. Red box and Netflix don't get it for another month.

The Experiment

Paul Scheuring directs this gripping thriller about a group of ordinary men who volunteer to take on the roles of guards and inmates in a mock prison as part of a controversial psychological experiment. When Barris (Forest Whitaker) and the other guards abuse their power in unnerving ways, Travis (Adrien Brody) and his fellow prisoners stage a revolt. Maggie Grace co-stars in this film based on the infamous real-life 1971 Stanford prison stunt.

Cast: Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker

This movie looks insane! We all know Adrien Brody plays insane well!
