The Villain has been Cast in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4!

Brad Bird has cast Michael Blomkvist as the main villain in Paramount Pictures Mission Impossible 4. Blomkvist is best known for his role as journalist Mikael Blomkvisti n the Swedish thriller The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and it's sequels. Blomkvist will join Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Paula Patton.

J.J. Abrams is producing the movie with Cruise and Paula Wagner. He also worked on the story for the film with writers Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum, who have written the screenplay.

Blomkvist is an awesome choice for a villain! He a solid actor with a strong menacing look. The film is set for a December 2011 release.
