Joel McHale Joins SPY KIDS: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD

It looks like Community star Joel McHale has landed a new film gig with Robert Rodriguez's new Spy Kids franchise reboot, Spy Kids: All The Time in the World. He will star opposite Jessica Alba.

I enjoy watch McHale in the project's he's in, but I don't think I'll be going out of my way to see this one. Sorry McHale, nothing against you, but these Spy Kids film are pretty lame. It's not just me,  my kids never really liked the Spy Kids movies either.

He will play as a spy-hunting reporter married to Alba's character, the stepmother to his kids. Alba plays a retired spy who's been reactivated. The actors cast in the preteen roles will be the new Spy Kids. They will face the villain, known as the Time Keeper, whose goal it is to stop time.

Dimension Films is targeting an August 19, 2011 release for the movie. Are any of you excited to see this movie? Just wondering.
