Official Logo for Disney's THE LONE RANGER
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed the new logo for his upcoming new Disney film... The Lone Ranger!
Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski has been hired to adapted the classic TV show film adaption for the big screen, and Johnny Depp will gloriously take on the role of Tonto, the Lone Ranger's sidekick. There's still no word on who will play the Lone Ranger, but at one point George Clooney was rumored to be in talks.
The Lone Ranger's origin story begins with a group of Texas Rangers chasing down a gang of outlaws led by Butch Cavendish. The gang ambushes the Rangers, seemingly killing them all. One survivor is found, however, by an American Indian named Tonto, who nurses him back to health. The Ranger, donning a mask and riding a white stallion named Silver, teams up with Tonto to bring the unscrupulous gang and others of that ilk to justice.
It will be cool to see how this movie turns out.
