Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg to Star in New Comedy, I HATE YOU DAD

It looks like Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg are going to star in a new comedy being set up at Columbia Pictures called I Hate You Dad.

The story centers on a father who moves in on the eve of his son's wedding and promptly begins feuding with the bride-to-be. Sandler would play the dad, with Samberg as the son. What's funny is that Sandler is only 12 years older that Samberg in real life.

I like the thought of these two comedic talents teaming up for a film, and I think something like this could be very funny.

The film is in the early stages of development, but it was written by David Caspe with a rewrite by David Wain and Ken Marino. There is no director attached the the film yet.

What are your thoughts on Sandler and Samber starring together in a comedy?
