Get Ready for A MORTAL KOMBAT: REBIRTH 10 Episode Web Series!

                                  

                                      

Hey Mortal Kombat fans! Y'all remember the really cool Mortal Kombat :Rebirth trailer we posted way back last year?  Yeah, the trailer was removed, so just jump to the bottom of the page to watch it again. Anyway, director Kevin Tancharoen has been approached by Warner Premiere for a 10 episode web series with a feature film planned afterwards.

The web series is penned by Tancharoen, Todd Helbing, and Aaron Helbing, and will star Michael Jai White, who returns as Major Jackson "Jax" Briggs. It's still unknown whether other cast members  from the trailer will be back, like the gorgeous Jeri Ryan, but I sure hope so!

What we have been told is that the 10 episode web series will also have the characters Shang Tsung, Liu Kang, Sub Zero, Durak, Shao Kahn, Kabal, Kitana/Mileena, and Scorpion. The early synopsis for the series reads: A few Earthlings will fight to save the planet from Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung, two Gods ruling over parallel universes.

So who all is freaking stoked about this?! Any of you who have watched the trailer are probably going nuts right now!
