Shane Caruth Joins Rian Johnson's LOOPER

Shane Carruth has joined Rian Johnson's upcoming film Looper and will oversee the special effects for the film's time travel scenes. He starred in and directed Primer, a 2004 film dealing with time travel, so he is well-versed in the genre of sci-fi action films. 

The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt and is about a group of hitmen who receive their assignments from the future.
