Is CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST Ready To Return To The Big Screen?

According to What's Playiing Classic Media is in talks with Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures to develop a new live-action film based on the Harvey Comics strip "Casper the Friendly Ghost". Casper was a huge hit back in 1995 raking in over $300 million worldwide. Since then all we've seen are straight to DVD movies and kids TV shows. Classic Media looks to be ready for a return to the big screen for the lovable ghost and the kids will probably be ready too.
