Check Out The Amazing Half-Life Short BEYOND BLACK MESA

Filmmaker Brian Curtin and a few of his friends spent two years (plus "endless hours" in post) and $1,200 making the Half-Life-inspired short film embedded above. It's a high-quality, 11-minute look into the life of Adrian Shephard and a group of resistance fighters attempting to alert the world about the impending invasion.

Hopefully a production like Beyond Black Mesa inspires fan filmmakers to up their game a bit.
